RAILONE Supplies RHEDA CITY Bi-Block Sleepers for the Sydney Metro Project
RAILONE is supplying 30,200 RHEDA CITY bi-block sleepers, including rail fastening systems, for the 23 km Western Sydney Airport Metro line in Australia between 2024 and 2025.
RAILONE is part of the major Western Sydney Airport Metro project in Australia. We are supplying approximately 30,200 RHEDA CITY bi-block sleepers, including rail fastening systems, for the new connection between Sydney’s existing metro network and Western Sydney Airport. This 23-kilometre metro line will form the backbone of Urban Transit in Greater Western Sydney.
It will connect local communities and passengers with the new Western Sydney International Airport (Nancy-Bird Walton) and key employment centres such as Bradfield Metro Station, formerly known as Aerotropolis. The project plays a central role in creating a safe, reliable and integrated transport system. It will serve the region while supporting New South Wales’ 30-year strategic vision for the transport sector under the Western Sydney Airport Precinct Plan.
