It is regarded as a benchmark for high load-bearing capacity, a long service life and cost-effectiveness in ballasted track.
To this day, the B 70 continues to be enhanced and adapted to changing requirements as part of the long-standing collaboration between Deutsche Bahn and RAILONE.
