Young Talent for Strong Railways: RAILONE Welcomes New Trainees
On August 1 and September 1, seven young people took the first step toward their professional future at RAILONE. With training programs in technical, commercial and industrial fields, they are strengthening the teams at the Neumarkt, Coswig and Aschaffenburg locations. At the same time, they are becoming part of “THE RAILONES – Future on Track”, RAILONE’s new training campaign. The band serves as a symbol of the interplay between different talents and training professions: Everyone contributes their own strengths, takes on an important role and helps drive the team toward shared success.
Four of the seven new trainees are starting their careers in Neumarkt, two of them at the concrete sleeper plant. Timm Kerschensteiner is beginning his training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, while Ali Dalak is starting his career as an Industrial Mechanic. At the modern administration building in Neumarkt, Johanna Mittermeier is training to become an Industrial Management Assistant. Romeo Velasquez is beginning his training as an IT Specialist for Application Development and will support the IT department in the future. Jasmin Detzer is also joining the team at the Aschaffenburg location, where she is completing her training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering. At the Coswig location, Julius Rüdiger and Damian Tyrock are training to become Specialists in Warehouse Logistics and Industrial Mechanics, respectively.
The new trainees began their journey at RAILONE with two varied induction days. In addition to getting to know the company, its various locations and their future contacts, the program included joint activities, exciting insights into the world of rail infrastructure and initial practical experience. This gave the new colleagues the opportunity to make contacts from day one, experience team spirit and find their bearings in their new working environment. The first few days already demonstrated how important teamwork is.
“Trainees bring fresh perspectives, curiosity and new ideas to our company. Many of our colleagues today once started their own careers with an apprenticeship at RAILONE. That is why we are delighted every year to inspire young talent to join our company and support them on their professional journey,” emphasizes Dr. Ludwig Friedl (CTO).
This spirit of collaboration, as well as the diversity of people and professions, is also at the heart of the new training campaign. “THE RAILONES – Future on Track” gives vocational training at RAILONE its own stage and highlights what makes starting a career together so special: everyone contributes their individual strengths and takes on an important role. Whether in the office, in production, logistics or engineering – it is the interplay of all these areas that makes shared success possible. In this way, different talents become strong teams, and the start of training becomes the first step toward a shared future.
For the new trainees, the start of their training marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their lives. RAILONE is delighted to welcome these new talents to the team and wishes all new trainees a successful start, exciting insights and many valuable experiences for their future careers. For the seven young talents, this marks the beginning of a new chapter – with plenty of opportunities to find their place within the team and set the pace for what comes next.
